Schwimmer received an executive producer credit on this picture as he contributed many notes for the screenplay overall--the idea to make his character a sportscaster, the location of Chicago and such.
It's hard to tell how many emotions were real and how many were manufactured just to get the other person to bring over more pot.
In the opening scene, it sounds like the preacher is pronouncing them "Husbands and Wife." To be fair, he may be saying "Husbance", but it is definitely not "Husband."
