Identical twins Annie and Hallie, separated at birth and each raised by one of their biological parents, later discover each other for the first time at summer camp and make a plan to bring their wayward parents back together.
In the scene where the twins are fighting with the light switches in the isolation cabin, the wall behind Annie has the text "Vicky loves Nicky" written with a pen on the wood, a reference to the later revealed relationship between Meredith and Nick, where Vicky, Meredith's mother is more than happy about it.
So, where's Chessie? I'm starving.
Elizabeth James: Well, she and Martin went off to a picnic around noon. Yesterday.
Nick Parker: Really. Who would have thought. My nanny, your butler.
When Meredith meets Elizabeth at the bar, she glances at Elizabeth's bill and says, "You're Elizabeth James?" and then begins talking about how she's designing her wedding dress. Elizabeth James is a common enough name that Meredith would not necessarily have known she was talking to the same Elizabeth James.
During the opening credits, it says "A Nancy Meyers/Charles Shyer Film," even though only the former is the director.
All UK versions are cut by the BBFC to remove 1 second showing imitable detail in the ear piercing scene.
