In a handful of European dubs, like the German, French or Hungarian, Vegeta was originally given a high-pitched, squeaky voice, possibly to further differentiate him from his deep-voiced, brutish partner Nappa and make him come off as "the smaller one" of the two. When Vegeta was revealed to be a serious character and became part of the main cast later on, some of the dubs changed his voice to be deeper and less comical.

French dubbed version: About half the time, the attack names are all wrong. The Solar Fist and Neo Tri-Beam are almost always confused, the Destructo Disk is called differently every time it's used, and nearly every attack is called Kamehameha at one point. Also, a lot of times the attack names are never even used, and are replaced with random trash-talk.
The Greek version added robotic distortion effects over the voices of evil or alien characters, even though none were present in the original version.
