Follows the misadventures of four irreverent grade-schoolers in the quiet, dysfunctional town of South Park, Colorado.
Similar to Timmy, Jimmy was meant to be a one time character, and is mentioned as being from out of town in his first appearance. However he was liked so much by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, that they kept him around. A few episode's later Jimmy is in the south park gang's (Cartman, Kyle, Stan, Kenny) class meaning that Jimmy moved to South Park.
We have Crab People.
Exactly who is related to whom in the Marsh family is never consistent. Early episodes imply that Jimbo and Marvin (Stan's grandfather) are on Sharon's side of the family, whereas more recent ones imply they are on Randy's side. Being on Sharon's side makes sense for Jimbo, as he has a different last name. However, Marvin's last name is, indeed, confirmed to be Marsh. Matt Stone revealed in an interview that Jimbo Kerns is Randy's half-brother.
The tune used for the Braniff logo at the end of the credits is the opening song from Trey Parker and Matt Stone's first film, "Alfred Packer: The Musical" (aka Cannibal: The Musical). Titled "Shpadoinkle Day". "The Sky is blue, and all the leaves are green. The Suns as warm as a baked potato. I think I know exactly what I mean, when I say its a Shpadoinkle day!"
In advertisements for the episode in which Kyle needs a kidney from Cartman, Stan asks Cartman what he'd do with ten million dollars, and Cartman replies, "I'd make Britney Spears my love slave!" The Britney Spears line does not appear in the actual episode.
