"Five Deadly Angels" has cute girls and a great concept (five women with shooting and/or combat experience team up to fight a crime boss who has kidnapped the scientist-boyfriend of one of them), but it is a big disappointment. There is too much (badly dubbed) talk, and half the movie is over before the women even start working together as a team. But the action is also poorly shot and poorly edited; it's just an all-around poor film. Even at the climax a guy fights more than the "deadly angels"! Also, see if you can spot the two scenes that completely rip off the previous year's James Bond hit "Moonraker" - it's not that hard. * out of 4.
