Photographer Terry Richardson’s portfolio includes countless magazine editorials, celebrity collaborations and fashion campaigns, but the industry veteran’s character has been called into question once again. Richardson, 52, has recently been blacklisted from working with a number of publications and companies after past sexual harassment allegations are being brought to the forefront of public conversation, in light of female mistreatment in the fashion and entertainment industries.
Richardson’s own past has now been associated with the ongoing sexual assault scandal facing disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. Earlier this week The Telegraph reported that Condé Nast International has informed its staff...

In under two weeks, some of our favorite DC TV shows will return to airwaves with new episodes. So, as we continue the sprint toward their respective season finales, it’s only natural that official synopses for each surface well in advance. Given that, we’re able to peer into the future and discuss what’s to come in the first week of May for Supergirl, The Flash and Arrow.
Obviously, we’ll begin with Supergirl, since it’s the first to air. When examining the description, one can’t help but compare Alex being kidnapped by an unknown party to Kara having a price put on her head not long ago. And although Rhea is in this episode, I’m not so sure she’s responsible because this kind of has Cadmus’ stench on it. But, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Here’s the early word on “Alex,...

Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monáe had the honor of performing at President Obama's last Fourth of July party at the White House. But as the holiday also marks the birthday of Obama's elder child, it was Malia who became the star of the show when her father began serenading her onstage. "And just because it's a job of a father to embarrass his daughters, I've got one last job," President Obama said at the end of his speech. "It just so happens that we celebrate our country's birthday on the same day that we celebrate my oldest daughter's birthday,...

From the Wicked Witch of the West to the sheer terror of "The Witch," our love affair -- or fearful fascination -- with witches endures. And where there are witches, you'll often find their supernatural colleagues, whether viciously murderous werewolves or sexy, glittering vampires. Whatever your poison, TV -- starting with "The Twilight Zone" and trucking on through "Hemlock Grove" -- is always ready to indulge your thirst for the witchy, the spooky, and the macabre.
'Salem' (2014 - )
Let's start with the witchiest of all witch shows -- the Wgn's "Salem" is ready to stock you up on warty noses, frog-based potions, and hexes aplenty. And that's what makes this somewhat campy, horror-tinged drama so shamelessly watchable: It eagerly embraces the world of witches -- including the quasi-historic Salem trials -- and isn't afraid to get downright soap operatic.
Ridiculous? Yes. Gory? Yes. Bloody good fun? You know the answer.

It was the summer of 1995. Bill Clinton was president, Rudy Giuliani was mayor of New York, and Oj Simpson was on trial. That summer’s youth-oriented movies included Pixar's first movie Toy Story, the Disney musical Pocahontas — and Kids, in which wayward, stoned teens fuck each other senseless and head-stomp random strangers.
It might be hard to remember just how notorious Larry Clark's indie-skater odysey was. The movie grossed a modest $7 million at the box office that summer — a wild success when you account for the fact that it...

A lot of our modern popular saying and ideas come from movies. We are a movie saturated society and it shows in everything we do. Some films are more memorable than others and have a longer shelf life when it comes to repeating key lines.
We thought we'd make up a list of the top 10 most quotable movies of all time. It was an extensive list and extremely difficult to narrow down. We could only pick 10, so we did it based on number of memorable quotes and impact of those quotes.
What movies make your list?
10. Clueless:
Tai: "no s*^t, you guys got coke here?!"
Cher: "well yeah, this is america" Tai: Why am I even listening to you to begin with? You're a virgin that can't drive! Cher: You know how picky I am about my shoes, and they only go on my feet. Cher: Oh look,...

With this Friday’s release of "Fast Five" barreling towards us, MTV Movies Blog is taking the time to look in the rearview at the four films that paved the way. First up, the movie that started it all.
There have been a host of car racing movies that came before "The Fast and the Furious," but its debut in 2001 saw the rise of the sub-genre’s biggest and most popular franchise ever. Described as “gritty and gratifying” by Variety, the Rob Cohen-directed film cemented the popularity of Vin Diesel after his role in "Pitch Black" the previous year and used an ensemble cast composed of young Hollywood’s biggest stars of the time. Although American car racing movies had long relied on the horsepower of homegrown ‘muscle’ cars, “The Fast and the Furious” super-charged its debut by relying primarily on vehicles from the Asian import scene that had...

Chris Brown was the water-cooler topic of the day after his stirring Michael Jackson tribute at the 2010 Bet Awards on Sunday night, when he broke down in tears as he attempted to sing "Man in the Mirror." The embattled R&B singer reminded the world of his talent as he re-created Mj's magical dance steps and sang a medley of his songs.
But Brown's onstage breakdown divided viewers: Was he emotionally overwhelmed by the moment, or were his tears a publicity stunt designed to garner favor after his assault of former girlfriend Rihanna?

We have just discovered that Vibe Magazine, which officially closed its doors on June 30th, has officially been resurrected. It seems that a group of investors named Intermedia Partners, a New York-based media industry private equity fund and its property, Uptown Media has put together a plan to bring the urban hip hop magazine back to the news stands.
First, we hear Vibe will initially relaunch on Vibe.com with the print edition appearing by the end of the year, followed by quarterly- or four times a year beginning in 2010.
Vibe's new leadership will include original Vibe team members Robert Miller and Leonard Burnett; Uptown Magazine Co-Founder Brett Wright and Blackrock Digital Partners Chris Smith and Parker McNaughton.
An important item to note is that despite Quincy Jones stating that he wanted to save the magazine, he is not involved in the new purchase.

When Quincy Jones founded Vibe in the early 90's, his intention was to provide readers with a publication that focused on issues in the music that would soon become the industry's backbone.
Vibe announced recently the 16-year old publication would no longer be producing magazines or operating its website, effective immediately.
"On behalf of the Vibe Content staff, it is with great sadness, and with heads held high, that we leave the building today," editor-in-chief Danyel Smith said in a statement. "We were assigning and editing a Michael Jackson tribute issue when we got the news."

We just discovered from a very reliable source- and it was confirmed through our other sources- that Vibe Magazine has folded. If you recall, Vibe was started in 1993 by music producer Quincy Jones, and grew to one of the leading music magazines in the game today. Anyway, in a meeting today the employees were all informed of the doors closing. No word on what there last issue will be to hit the stands, but we think there will be three more issues published and that will be it.

Loss of 16-year-old magazine leaves marketplace without mainstream hip-hop/ R&B title.

Vibe magazine, the urban glossy founded in 1992 by legendary producer Quincy Jones, announced on Tuesday (June 30) that the publication is folding and will no longer produce print issues or publish its Web site, Vibe.com.
With the closing of the title, effective immediately, there now remains no large circulation print publication dedicated to covering hip-hop, R&B and fashion on a mainstream level.
During the magazine's memorable 16-year-run, a number of iconic covers were produced, chief among them images of Suge Knight's Death Row roster adorned all in black, and simple, striking photos of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Aaliyah to mark their deaths. The magazine, however, will forever be remembered for its controversial coverage of the East Coast/ West Coast hip-hop rivalry, which inspired many of the scenes from the film "Notorious.
