  • Lol what happened? Something I guess, because I watched it until the end. Dramatic Interlude, Breasts, more Breasts, hard to listen dialog, end-fight. That's practically it. Besides the animation was nice. The story was like I don't know were it was but it didn't really seem to matter. It was like a story from a NES game "Evil wizard does dirty things in fantasy land - kill him" that's it. There was a beginning of a rape scene - but it was over before it really started, that saddened me. And then there was more breasts. The end stunned me cause it was so lame and unrealistic, but who cares - just 45min. Maybe it was the animation that kept it somehow alive. Don't know, but I want more.
  • A short, sleazy, and kind of simplistic anime film that I still kind of enjoyed because of how blunt it was, Legend of Lemnear doesn't really mess around. It starts off being about revenge, but it throws in some more lofty fantasy tropes as it goes along. I guess it never entirely lost the premise it had at the start, but it got lost at least a little along the way. But, at the same time, I can't imagine anyone is going to watch something like this for the story, and I didn't really worry about it too much while watching either.

I also can't justify why I didn't mind this but disliked Heavy Metal, which this has some major similarities to, almost to the point where there might even be some plagiarism, in regards to similarities between one segment of that film and this. It makes me think I was just not in the mood for Heavy Metal when I watched it, though I do think I like the animation here more than I did with that film.

This anime is about a beautiful girl (the champion of Silver) who hunts down the wizard Gardein to avenge the slaughter of her people. It's a short film, only 45 min, but the animation is stunning. The story is straight like a cartoon, not in depth as other anime's. If you looking for great animation, you should see it. If you looking for a great story, don't bother. All anime freaks should see it anyway, its only 45 min.
