  • Reissued on Alpha Blue Archives' three-fer tribute to Deviate Doctors, IS THE DOCTOR IN? is aimed squarely at anal sex fetishists. It's bottom of the barrel porn by any standard.

An annoying teaser wraparound features R.J. Reynolds as Dr. Goldfinger, some sort of shrink or sex therapist, listening to the complaint of utterly beautiful patient Miss Brandle (Jennifer West), who is afraid she craves anal sex. The gimmick is we build up to expecting a finale sex scene with her, but no dice -she's sent home still clothed and untouched -one long tease.

In the interim the loquacious doc tells her of case histories involving the Hershey Highway, illustrated by lousy stag loops. Mimi Morgan, such a cutie, is featured in two of them while other popular starlets including Toni Scott and Valerie Franklin also make recycled appearances.

Certainly the film's calling card apart from its target subject matter, is sex scene #2 concerning Mr. J (Franklin Anthony) and his "poop fetish". Valerie Franklin is the unfortunate co-star in this segment, given an enema while Anthony humps her, with the apres-sex result of him rubbing a convincing chocolate-like substance around on her posterior. Whether this was special effects or the real deal didn't interest me much -I was anxious to get on to the next loop, especially since I had previously admired Franklin's work and was dismayed at her being reduced to this level of junk.

Some of the loops are merely cryptic, as in one where Mimi finds a guy hiding in her closet. Fred Huber, the blond star of the 1976 classic FOR LOVE OF MONEY, pops up in one loop as a sadistic guy involved in rape. His FOR LOVE OF MONEY co-star Jane Clayton also shows up in this segment.
