Did someone doodle all over Kerry Washington's dress? The Scandal star's pale pink mini is covered in what looks like a series of little scribbles. We spy several pairs of lips, some bright red hearts, odd-shaped crystals, and are those mini matchsticks?? Is there some kind of hidden message among the material? Something about love lighting lips? Upon closer glance these little pictures are actually little embroideries carefully sewn around the dress. We love how the raised fabric gives the otherwise simple style some dimension along with the fun little details. So message or no message, this look screams fun, which is just what the stressed out TV "fixer" needs in her off-screen life. We...

For Werner Herzog, filmmaking has always been a life or death pursuit. The 69 year old director nearly died at least five different times making his 1982 film "Fitzcarraldo" -- and that was just one movie in an almost forty year career! When you ask Herzog "How's it going?" at the start of an interview and he replies "Well, I'm still alive," it's not just a cute line; it's a personal accomplishment.
The struggle for survival in a mad world is a prominent theme in a lot of Herzog's work and it's crucial to the director's latest film, the documentary "Into the Abyss." Herzog travels to Texas where he interviews the survivors of a horrific triple homicide. He speaks with the victims' families, reverends, and even convicted killers, one of whom, Michael Perry, was scheduled to be executed just eight days after Herzog's visit. The subject matter -- an unthinkable and pointless...

'American Idol': David Archuleta's new single 'Something 'Bout Love,' 'A Capitol Fourth' performance
Take a listen to "American Idol" runner up David Archuleta's new single "Something About Love."
"Love" can be heard on AOL Radio's New Pop First station, but of course fans have already grabbed it and posted it on its own so you don't have to wait through those other musicians on the station.
As far as we can tell, it's a solid pop piece with lyrics that go something like this:
Something bout love that makes your heart
That sets you free
Whoa oh oh oh
Something bout love that tears you up
Whoa oh oh oh
Still believe
When the world falls down like rain
And brings you to your knees
Something bout love that breaks your heart
But don't give up
Something bout love
Hear it for yourself:
"Something 'Bout Love" will be available for purchase at Archuleta's music store on July 13, at iTunes on July 20.
