Dud - avoid, do not even rent

Bought four DVDs from Wicked Pictures featuring Jenna Jameson in her salad days. She was so sweet and eager. Currently, she's trying to cross over to mainstream after earning her fortune.

Typical for Wicked, there were decent sets/music/lighting and sometimes decent acting. The babes were sexy and shapely. The studs were buff with lots of sticky stuff.

The best was The Wicked One (1995) with its noir atmosphere. Jenna won an actress AVN award for her role as a demented sex siren. Of course, that's not saying very much. But, it did stretch her a bit.

Silver Screen Confidential (1996) was amusing and light. Chelsea Blue and Sindee Coxx do an extended scene. Jenna did a nice scene with TT Boy. Davia Ardell did a Marilyn Monroe impression.

Lip Service (1995) was adequate. The DVD came with a fair bit of extras. The extended girl-girl orgy in Special Features is worth watching. Starring Jenna and Serenity.

Phantasm (1995) was a dud. Production quality was only average. Jenna only appeared in one sex scene. Asia Carrera gave a lukewarm performance.

Among the directors, Brad Armstrong's work (Wicked One and Lip Service) was superior. He put in extra effort and it showed. I look forward to more videos from Brad.

Familiar "fantasy sex club" concept is stillborn

Bud Lee directing wife Asia Carrera for Wicked promised more than he delivered in a rather mundane approach to this fulfill-your-fantasies subject matter.

It's the usual "Westworld" topic, only this time when T.T. Boy and girlfriend Asia go to the title club they encounter a busty blonde emcee (Goldie) who informs them it's a contest. Like a videogame they have to succeed at three levels before winning a prize, only the competition is strictly sexual. Lee failed to emphasize or create the requisite jeopardy when we discover that those who fail could become sex slaves -sort of a novel approach to human trafficking.

There's enough kinky content to keep the viewer amused, as the first trial has our duo observing Bridgette Monroe imprisoned in a cell, subjected to punishment and threesome sex by Goldie and a hooded guy revealed to be John Decker.

Then per rules of this game they are separated, with Asia put in the charge of three imposing lesbians led by Anna Malle while T.T. has a rather oddball encounter with two savage girls on a cheap jungle set.

Finally it's revealed that the sex club is run by guest star Jenna Jameson, who services our duo in sexy fashion, culminating in a happy ending of all three set to work together to run the place henceforth. Besides being an unsubtle commentary on Lee and Asia's open marriage at the time, it downplays the option of our leads becoming sex slaves to Jenna -not necessarily a horrific prospect but at least having the potential to add some tension/suspense to the otherwise lightweight feature.
