This Janine vehicle for Vivid is quite poor, not reflecting her talent at all, nor that of director Bud Lee and writer RIck Marx, all of whom I greatly admire. It plays more like generic Vivid Video content, suitable for chopping up to provide ballast to some Vivid compilation release.
There's little to no continuity, just a mass of scenes which fade out and fade up randomly. Janine plays a shy but beautiful model, under the wing of cynical Tony Tedeschi, portraying a stereotypical form of sexist and self-centered still photographer. She lives with successful models played by Leslie Glass (an underrated star who closely resembles current porn actress Jennifer White) and Asia Carrera.
The stars are overshadowed here by Krista and Brooke Waters as a pair of strippers who have sex in a studio-lensed night club, the heat of their performances far greater than that generated by the movie's famous stars.
The story borders on the nonsensical, since Janine portraying a naive innocent undercuts her role when she drops her character during her sex scenes. The fake melodrama is very poorly done, basically built around Janine's deservedly famous "frozen icicle dildo" lesbian scene with Julia Ann in the classic Andrew Blake feature "Hidden Obsessions". Here we have Asis as a bad guy pegging Tom Byron with an icicle dildo in his ass, which breaks off and supposedly kills him. Later Janine for no reason at all uses the same type of icicle dildo off-camera on Jon Dough's ass for an idiiotic ending.
