Jack Webb's "Dragnet" has been parodied and imitated so many times it comes as a surprise how inept this porn series in its take-offs. Scotty Fox's movie mocking the Tammy Fae & Jim Bakker scandal is poor in all respects.

Cop story is set in San Francisco and copies without generating intended laughs the cliches of "Dragnet". Jon Martin won an undeserved (as always it would seem) industry acting award for playing Joe Thursday, but his performance is poor, clad in costuming that doesn't fit Webb's look and delivering the dumb dialog with a smirk. Co-star Randy Spears plays nearly the same character, only he errs in relentlessly dull line readings.

Mike Horner's take on Jim Bakker is broad and hardly up to his usual high standard of comedic acting. Sole bright spot is meager, in that casting Britt Morgan as Tammy with trademark fake eyelashes and way too much makeup actually delivers a convincing resemblance.
