Errors in geography
When Michael is by the telephone booth, it is supposed take place in San Francisco. However, a public transit bus in the background is one painted in the colors of those in Vancouver, where this sequence was actually filmed.
While Michael and Brian are driving through Nevada, a series of Nevada town markers are shown. One is Cache Creek, which is not located in Nevada, but rather is one of the actual locations in British Columbia, Canada where the movie was filmed.
