Henry James' classic supernatural tale "The Turn of the Screw" is the basis for this well-made porn fantasy, notable mainly for a solid central performance by Leena. It was previously made into the classic movie "The Innocents" starring Deborah Kerr, plus a Nicole Kidman remake.
She rents an apartment in a Manhattan brownstone, getting a break on the rent because it is supposedly haunted. Specifically, a corner of the room in what appears to be a studio is haunted.
Comic relief is provided by an excellent acting job by former porn star Kelly Nichols, turned makeup artist (on this video as well), who plays Leena's new eccentric landlord Mrs. Quint, named after a key male character in James's story.
Several ghosts appear in the movie, and both Leena and her colleague Jay Ashley (cast as a college professor) are possessed by spirits when they go into the haunted corner. Supernatural XXX sex always results.
Credit the talented scriptwriter Martin Brimmer/Rodger Jacobs with the chutzpah to turn to literature rather than pop culture for inspiration. (Note: his first Adult screenplay was based on "Cyrano de Bergerac".)
