With her dreamy eyes and perfect figure, Chasey Lain was one of the '90s great beauties in porn, contracted with Wicked Pictures. She never got a truly exciting vehicle (standing way down in the pecking order behind the likes of Jenna Jameson, Stephanie Swift and Julia Ann, but "Covergirl" at least preserves her visual appeal.
The storyline has her blackmailed with her career threatened by sexually explicit photos popping up, and there are a few okay plot twists along the way. Sex is hot and makes its own statement, with my personal fave from this era Heather Lee fine as an underwritten but effective humper. Veteran Kelly Nichols pops up in a "voice of experience" role.
