After a catastrophic malfunction and a horrible industrial accident in the outdated steel factory, the former hero of the Resistance and honest steelworker, Tasos Kayafas, decides to represent his impoverished colleagues to the indifferent plant owner, Youla Bogosian. As Tasos' efforts are in vain, much to his surprise, an unforeseen love affair with the cryptic boss will timidly start to bloom, against the backdrop of wretched necessity and blind prejudice. Has the otherwise humble man sold himself and his irrefutably noble ideals for the sake of profit? Will the prisoners of passion come face-to-face with the grave consequences of their actions?
