Makris was best known as the drunk man gives here one of his best performances.Vasileiadou as his sister is terrific too.All the cats is very good and Morakis who provides the music is at his best.A classic comedy to give away from your routine and problems,written and directed by the maitre Sakelarios.

bartdv17 August 2000This comedy about a retired general who keeps his personal little army of five daughters is fun especially in the first 30 minutes. Orestis Makris is very credible and funny as the general and the other characters are quite loveable.
However, the interesting theme of foreign (modern) influences in the Greek (old-fashioned) society in the 1950s hasn't been worked out that well. But then again, it's meant to be a light comedy. There are also some very nice comedy ideas, like the flowerpot-throwing thing.
