Phony & self-serving
Melanie Moore play-acts (unconvincingly) a version of herself here: reading to us snatches from her diary, with flashbacks illustrating her sex history. It's not real, pointing up the fallacy that so many porn watchers amplify, especially IMDb contributors who erroneously put "Self" or the actor's name as their character, when clearly they are acting, even if their fictional character is given their stage name for convenience. So MM is playing the role of Melanie Moore.
Four four sex scenes she names the other actors and actresses and talks about them as performers, but they are acting. In fact, the show takes a switch for the final vignette, in which she & her diary keep stressing how her boyfriend is a globe-hopping businessman in the import/export business who is surprised to find out he's dating a porn star -he's portrayed by Jon Dough, explicitly not playing Jon Dough (although the opening credits are typically sloppy, spelling his name as Jon Doe.
Moore has sex in the last four of the five vignettes, and though they are supposed to depict different stages of her career, the same set of bed, lamps, decorations and wall painting is used over & over. Director Edwardo Dinero has a cameo as the director of the first set visit she ever made (with pal P. J. Sparxx who introduced her to the business) and later she gushes praise for him.
Ending tries to get serious, as sugar daddy Dough leaves her an airplane ticket to go with him to Indonesia and leave her skin trade behind. She writes in her diary in big block letters: "I don't know what to do!". The End. Are you kidding?
