  • Not to be confused with the excellent 2010 XXX BATMAN parody, this 1989 XXX feature has less humor and more sex. Michael Knight plays Bedman, with a young Tami Monroe playing his female sidekick Throbbin, who can never resist the urge to seduce him in costume. Rick Savage has a great time as 'The Jokester,' inspired by Jack Nicholson's then recent turn in the Tim Burton movie, getting it on with both Throbbin and the commissioner's daughter, Barbara Hardon, while Bedman ensnares the luscious Pussy Woman (Veronica Hall), after she performs a tongue lashing with Barbara (the adorable Summer Rose). That's really all there is. The static, unmoving camera renders the sex scenes rather boring, a shame since I loved all three girls. Director Joe Sarno was nearing the end of dozens of low budget titles with the same sets, setups, even identical beds! Starlets such as Cara Lott, Siobhan Hunter, Annette Heinz, Nina Preta, Krista Lane, Stephanie Rage, Jessica Wylde, Brittany Morgan, Charlene Cody, Tasha Voux, Rachel Ashley, and the Gabriel twins made the rounds in each and every video, mustering up all the heat required to make up for the numerous shortcomings. Summer Rose was an irresistible redhead who didn't quite achieve top stardom, while Tami Monroe, prior to various enhancements, was making an early appearance under the name Darcy Derringer, with small, natural breasts, and curly, strawberry blonde hair (her short stature is unmistakable). For me, Veronica Hall steals the show as Pussy Woman, and who could resist those cute ears atop her beautiful brunette curls? (Tori Black proved to be a disappointing Catwoman in the 2010 parody). Perhaps best known for her role opposite Kathleen Gentry in John Leslie's original 1988 CAT WOMAN, and with little more than a dozen titles in her brief career, she was always a favorite starlet of mine from the 80s. With her perfect 60s hairstyle and gyrations, gorgeous Alexis Texas stole the show in the 2010 XXX BATMAN (with Lexi Belle's amazing Batgirl a close second), which faithfully reproduced the look of the 60's TV series, while this long forgotten entry resulted from the 1989 Michael Keaton release.
