Three twenty-somethings share a Boston apartment and hang around (and work) at a pizza place.
A significant amount of secondary characters introduced in season one disappear by season two including Melissa (Pete's girlfriend), Bill (the owner of Beacon Street Pizza), and Mr. Bauer (the eccentric regular at the pizza place). Eventually, by season three, the premise of the pizza place was completely abandoned and the show became, simply titled, "Two Guys and a Girl".

Berg: And you... do a phenomenal Linda Ronstadt imitation.
Melissa: Aww... Pete.
Berg: And he hates sushi... but goes with...
