  • All-star femme cast led by Shayla LaVeaux highlights this well-directed Bud Lee movie for VCA, presaging his fine series of Adam & Eve features he made under the "Mystery Sex Theater" umbrella.

Co-star Juli Ashton's screenplay builds up plenty of sympathy for Shayla's character, an overworked secretary working for lawyer Randy West, who is a hissable meanie of a boss. She escapes from her humdrum, constricted existence through the title's erotic dreams at night, which include her co-workers.

Story turns into engrossing fantasy with the SPFX appearance and disappearance of a mysterious stalker wearing a tuxedo, played by Steve Drake. He turns out to be a manifestation of Shayla's subconscious, and takes her on a fantasy journey of sex: first as voyeuse observer and later participant. Result is quite positive, especially for the usually misogynistic world of porn, as Shayla gains self-confidence en route to a surprise happy ending.

There are six female superstars in the cast, each of whom would have many leading roles of their own in Adult Cinema, and their ensemble acting is quite good. With Shayla maintaining central position in the story, co-stars Ashton, Kyiie Ireland, Jill Kelly, Missy and Asia Carrera all make their mark. And director Lee stages stylish group sex scenes using imaginative camera angles.
