Oh dear...
Jeez, this was awful. I really wanted to like this, but I just couldn't. The acting is terrible (Saskia Reeves...did you try?). William Hurt slept through his lines like he did in Lost In Space. Costumes were poor and garish. Special effects were weak...notice how the Fremen's blue eyes stopped being blue when they weren't looking direct to the audience? Nightmare/daydream flashback and flashforwards were laughable.

It's bad in so many ways...I think I'll end on the cockney barrow-boy version of Gurney Halleck (Young Pup!).

I'll give it 2...for effort.
