Then this is the film dedicated to Dragon Ball GT released on television then This film is set when Goku managed to eliminate all the seven evil dragons and leave with Shenron and a mountain has passed for years all the characters we know one by one left this worldthe only character that is still there is Pan who has now become Goku Jr's great-grandmother who is trying in every way to train him but he is really a failure however Pan had an illness that is killing her and Goku was very upset Then he decided to search for the Dragon Ball Perfulfill the wish that his grandmother gets well but along the way he also follows a person called Puck who follows Goku and they both end up in a mountain of dangers because they are hindered by a person who loves to eat children How strange it seems like the witch from Hansel and Grete So whatwhat do I think of this film So from everyone even Ramì won't be one of the best Dragon Ball films mirror in this film it doesn't have a lot of things like the previous films but I didn't hate it like the others So let's start with the things that I didn't like them. I don't like what Pan hasa very small role then this one doesn't have a lot of fights it only has one fight then the bad guys aren't interesting at all Then there's the person who eats children then two other followers and above all a huge boar they're not interesting at all then but now Let's get to thingswhat makes me save this film was the character of Puck very good because he was just the usual person who first is an annoying person who always annoyed Goku but then he becomes his friend things already seen hundreds of times and then he sacrifices himself to save Goku or fallfrom a ravine and then it was very beautiful when Goku decides to get angry to transform into Super Saiyan to defeat the huge boar that I was killing a bear that had saved him and then comes the most beautiful part of this film or Goku Jr finds the abandoned house that Goku lived in and hasfound a four-star Gecko ball tried to grant the wish but nothing happens it's a person says the dragon balls work when they are all seven together Pan didn't tell you it's the person who is Goku's ancestor or the one the part with those two is originaljust the most beautiful part that even made me cry but at the same moment a plane appears and Puck is inside and I can't understand how he managed to survive If before he had fallen into bolts believing it even the grandmother is Goku Jr to always shoot down the dragon balllike the original Goku did So for me this film won't be much better but I don't dislike it at all for me it's much better than other worse Dragon Ball films that I've reviewed But I'm the most fused to tell you that Goku Jr also seems an appearance from the last episode of Dragon Ball GT that iswhen he faces Vegeta Jr. It's incredible the descendants of the two rivals will also face their grandchildren this was a very good film for me and I'll tell you the last sentence that Goku says or my little nephew promises well to conclude the vote 7.
  • This is great. I really enjoyed this and it was really funny. It also proved a good point, with a little help from your friends you can make it. The way Chibi Gokou reacts when Pan gets sick is amazing and the way it makes you feel, its like your in the Anime. And when Gokou has to go on the Journey to find the Dragonball to bring Pan back, it is just an amzing story. I'm not goin to sit here and blah my mouth off, go check it out! A+
  • We all had seen side stories of Dragonball before and all of 'em deserved appreciate. I still cannot believe I wasted my time because of this movie. This movie is so pointless. This movie provided me to think this question only: How many generation will this Dragonball continue? How many idiotic new generation characters we have to watch? I only watched the first 4 episodes of Dragonball Gt and when I saw the atmosphere, characters (especially Pan), and synopsis, I rejected to watch DBGT. We had enough pain by watching Pan anyway, and now is it her grandson?? Who cares this. To me, even Gohan was unnecessary. After Goku died, they tried to upload the whole story onto him. But that character couldn't give enough to carry this big project. I even always hated the young Gohan. He must never have been born. After this fiasco, Pan was born. Painful!! And now her coward grandson with her stupid characteristic.

I'm a big fan of original Dragonball and the art of it. I have still bearing the questions about the place of Dragonball Z that was it really necessary - That Gohan character, or Goku's being grown up, etc... But I cannot even stand GT.

This movie is just nothing but a waste. Scenario is awful. You wait so much things and it gives nothing. We just watched the pathetic Goku. The best solution would be that they must stop this producing new generation and its new characters. STOP THE TIME AND BRING THE ORIGINAL CAHARCTEEERS!!! Young Goku and Yamcha will be enough!!

During the Dragonball Z series, there were two excellent movie specials that explained the background of characters with relatively unexplained backgrounds. One explained the background of "Future Trunks" and the alternate reality he is from, and the other tells the story of Bardock, Son Goku's biological father, and his fight against Freeza.

At the end of the last episode of Dragonball GT, Goku absorbs the dragonballs and disappears without a trace. 100 years later you see an aged Pan, as spectator. at the Tenkaichi Budoukai. Her young grandson, Goku Jr. (who is the splitting image of Goku as a child) goes super saiyin and fights Vegeta Jr.

This sidestory follows Goku Jr. on his quest for the 4 star dragonball so he can use it to heal is sick grandmother. Goku Jr., interesting enough, a coward. Its a nice twist and makes for a better story to see a Goku who can't fight and isn't brave enough to stand his ground. This leads to a few comical instances when you get to see a sobbing, runny nosed Goku running for dear life.

As you can probably guess, eventually we see Goku Jr. lives up to his name, but not until after a brief word of advice from his hidden guardian angel. This special is great addition to the DB collection of movies. Its has the classic goof ball comedy of the early dragonball stories, without a lot of fighting (so if thats what you're looking for in a movie, watch one from the Z series). It shows your a possible new main character for a new series; one who can fight like Goku, act as stupid as Goku, turn his enemies into his friends like Goku did, and most importantly, one who eats as much as Goku did.
  • I'm going to be upfront, I thought Dragon Ball GT was alright despite the torrent of abuse it got from hardcore fans. I get Trunks was 'goofy' and that it wasn't as dark as the previous instalments, I do. However, it still had a fun storyline and ki-blasts here, there and everywhere.

A Heroes Legacy picks up a long time after GT when all the main characters die of natural causes. Goku's great great grandson, Goku Jr., is the main protagonist and bears an uncanny resemblance to Goku in the original Dragon Ball. However, he is quite shy and lacks the courage Goku had. Maybe the family got soft with such a prolonged episode of peace...it was interesting to see a Saiyan who was so un- Saiyanlike!

The storyline of this movie is quite similar to the original series...find the Dragon Balls. The reason for doing so is so that Goku Jr. can wish to save his grandmother, who just so happens to be the only surviving Z-fighter, Pam! Of course, this is Dragon Ball, so getting the balls themselves won't be a simple task. Along the way, Goku Jr. faces new enemies and must overcome his shyness. This is where I felt the movie fell a bit short. The enemies were not very memorable and we do not get to see some 'proper' fights until very late on in the movie. When the fights do eventually happen, they are somewhat lacklustre compared to what we were used to in the original series.

The story ends on a kind nod to the original series. I won't spoil this for you, but it is an ending that I felt did it justice. If you found GT a blemish on Dragon Ball, I would still recommend you watch this movie. It was a slower story sure, but it was still Dragon Ball.

The movie is great!! and the storyline is amazing and even touching. I mean it shows how to be brave, when Pan dies and Chibi Goku goes on an adventure to search for the 4 star ball. It's also funny, when he and Pak become scared from Zangiya, The blue alien they meet in the dark forest. It even shows the appearance of the great Son Goku (The original Goku) when Chibi Goku becomes disappointed and cries when he realizes that the 4 star ball can't revive Pan, so Son Goku appears and tells him that he needs all 7 balls. He also tells him not to give up. I like the last part when Chibi Goku remembers the words of his great grandfather Son Goku.

Anyway this movie is one of the best movies in The Dragonball GT Specials !
  • This is about the last generation of Dragon Ball characters. Yes, the protagonist is weak and he is supposed to be. It's maybe the 5th generation or so and if you don't know by each generation the purity of saiyan blood drops by 50% and with each generation they become more and more human which means they become weaker and weaker and I'm pretty sure this is the very last generation of still being somewhat Saiyan.

The point of the film is to show what will the last generation of Saiyans be like and it does its job perfectly. The film isn't about action but about saying the final goodbye to the characters you love. It does stay very faithful to its roots of Dragon Ball (not Dragon Ball Z) and this film mostly feels like an adventure like it used to be back in the days and it's done with such brilliance. The humor is great, the music is fantastic and the action is pretty good too (though as mentioned before there is barely any action here). I admit that the voice acting is terrible, the fact that bear is noticeably voiced by a human is not good and cringe.

But anyway this film does what it needs to do, it's an extremely emotional and beautiful farewell to Dragon Ball. Also, it must be noted that it ends with the beautiful Zard - Don't You See song, so I think it also works as an unintentional memorial of Izumi Sakai, which also adds even more nice sentimentality to it.

Too bad Dragon Ball GT is considered "non-canon" and that crappy cash-grab Dragon Ball Super is...
  • This is a stand out film that differs entirely from any of the franchise in its ambition of covering the far-future timeline. It does it justice, leaning into archetypal myth and inspiring the timelessness of Dragon Ball themes such as courage and protection of loved ones.

    Warning: Spoilers
Throughout my days as a kid I watched a lot of dragon ball episodes my dad got me into the series when Dragon Ball Z Kai came out and I loved the show it was fun and brought me lots of excitement then when the cell saga ended I found out the majin buu saga existed and while it did have problems I still loved the show it brought a kid name goku who was courageous, fearless, and very strong while he personality was goofy and kid like he still was able to get serious at times and that's what I loved about goku and then gt came out which while had flaws as well the special to me didn't by the time of watching dragon ball super I realized that goku has basically done everything and there was nothing for him to do and that's where this special hits it's a new character who is the opposite of goku nothing like him in fact he was scared and a crybaby but that's the thing he ain't goku he's his own person he has too much to live up to that people don't understand they just see dragon ball and expect action fights but that's not what this special was it was a story of a boy growing to warrior trying to live up the expectations given to him and live under his grandfather name as we see him realize himself who he was and how courageous he really is and this special hits hard for a fan to realize that this special is defining goku and who he was and what's different from goku jr and him.
