PG-13 | | Comedy, Drama
A lazy law school grad adopts a kid to impress his girlfriend, but everything doesn't go as planned and he becomes the unlikely foster father.
The judge's last name is "Healy". This may be a reference to Dennis Dugan's directorial debut, Problem Child (1990), in which John Ritter's character's family name was Healy.
Having a kid is great... as long as his eyes are closed and he's not moving or speaking.
When Sonny decides to adopt Julian, his friends Tommy and Phil try to discourage him by warning him of the big responsibilities of parenthood. However, as lawyers, they never remind him that he would need Kevin's legal permission to do so.
This movie is dedicated to our fathers. Thanks for putting up with all our crap. We love you.
