PG-13 | | Comedy, Drama, Romance
A bachelor becomes the unwilling guardian of his autistic, intellectually disabled sister; then an experimental treatment works a dramatic change in her brain and his attitude.
The film premiered on major airline flights before being shown in cinemas.
When the theatrical release was delayed, the airline version release date was left unchanged, so the movie actually premiered in the USA as an in-flight movie for the USWest airline several months before hitting theaters. Moreover, the airline version was 109 minutes long. The movie was subsequently cut to 89 minutes before the theatrical release, so the airline version includes footage not seen elsewhere.
