A hysterical documentary which uses footage of Ed Wood's movie to tell the story of his life. It may not be a deep analysis, but shows distinctly how Ed's life strongly influenced his own films.
Like all Ed Wood films, LOOK BACK ends with the classic line "Made in Hollywood, USA"
The director's cut featured no interviews whatsoever, letting the dialogue from Ed Wood films tell most of the story; Dudley Manlove ("Eros" in "Plan 9") was approached to narrate. Rhino insisted on interviews, including both Dolores Fuller and Kathy Wood. Both women refused to participate if footage from "Love Feast" was included (scenes of Ed Wood in drag, in a dog collar, licking a woman's boot). The footage was excised.
