  • A forgettable and largely forgotten small budget fight film.

Punched out by the boxer who came on for his fiancée, the playboy wakes up sitting on the running board of their roadster & hears the manager ("More shrewd than the law allows") plot a fight fix. Our battered hero goes into training with his comic butler, formerly "the fighting terrier"

The last reels are quite lively. Our hero challenges the crooked pair to a match, which shifts from the gym to Coney Beach (to avoid the playboy's father and fiancée), through the side shows and roller coaster, with the fight finished on a barge towed to sea, while the comic cameraman films the event in rising surf.

Twenties atmosphere - jazz parties, open cars, uniformed street cops.

With his boxer's features, Sullivan is hard to swallow as "a regular fellow but spoiled by his father's money."
