  • Warning: Spoilers
Though it may be considered questionable nowadays to play the disturbing premise (parents trying to have their precocious teenage daughter committed so they can get their hands on an inheritance) primarily for laughs, it is exactly this non-politically correct decision of director Shaun Costello (in his usual "Russ Carlson" guise) that makes this N.Y. quickie so enjoyable.

A cult cast that really knows how to f*** for a buck doesn't hurt matters either. The movie opens with a hilariously namedropping pre-credits phone call to her friend Claire ("I was at Chez Régine's last night. Margaret Trudeau was there. Bianca – Jagger, presumably – was escorted by three fagots. You know she's not getting f***ed!") from Elaine (redheaded Alexandria Cass, so memorable in Bill Milling's TEMPTATIONS and BLONDE VELVET) who then proceeds how job stress is getting to her husband, Dr. Warren Counter (Costello). He's in the midst of dealing with creepy couple Eva and Ben Starbuck (Marlene Willoughby and Ashley Moore) who try to convince him that their 13-year old (!!!) daughter Angel (a very youthful – but fortunately not THAT youthful – Sharon Mitchell) is an insane nymphomaniac who should be institutionalized. The highly strung Eva's convinced of this because she saw the girl and her friend Lisa (Beth Anna, whose part Native American background secured her the lead in Ann Perry's unintentionally silly SWEET SAVAGE) have their wicked way with a pair of aspiring basketball players played by Leo Lovemore (the chubby detective hero from Costello's BETRAYED TEENS) and none other than David Christopher who would go on to fame and fortune with his Pussyman character some 15 years on. "One cock might be enough for me, doctor, but she wants two cocks !" she shrieks, the talented Willoughby making the most of the farcical phrase. The shamelessly self-mocking actress pretty much steals the show here, as she did on most of these hastily churned out one or two day wonders. Costello apparently agreed as he would continue to work with her right up until 1982's HOT DREAMS, supporting…Sharon Mitchell ! Small world, isn't it ?

For the record, Mitchell (in an appealingly bratty turn) may vocally profess her love of multiple members but it's her slinky cohort who ends up performing a lengthy double vaginal penetration, an occurrence still rare enough to be commented on. Some brief investigating on the good doctor's part reveals that it was evil step mom Eva who procured the boys to seduce young Angel, convincing them by spreading her long and limber legs for a good seeing-to. The doc's misgivings prove founded when he discovers that the young girl was to come into a five million dollar trust fund, left to her by her doting grandfather, if she were to reach the age of 14 (huh ?) in a state of good mental health.

To assure Angel's further safety, Dr. Warren and his wife assume custody and, as this is a porn film, they celebrate this happy ending with a threesome. One of the movie's funniest bits occurs at this point when the couple tries to put the girl to bed and she starts rubbing the doc's crotch, moaning how she wants what's in his pants, to which he replies with barely suppressed delight : "If you want it, you can have it !" This amiably ludicrous little number boasts bright, colorful cinematography and Costello's customary musical selections, including the creepy discordant music and the Mike Oldfield track he was still recycling by the time he shot PANDORA'S MIRROR in 1981 ! The people are prettier than usual for a Big Apple bonkfest of the period and the sex they have is good, solid raunch without any violence or coercion. Hell, even the Starbucks get their comeuppance this time by the doctor telling them off rather than the usual revenge by group rape !
