Futurama: Xmas Story (1999) was the last episode to air in the 20th century (ie. the year 1999). Futurama: Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love? (2000) is the first episode of the year 2000 (ie. the third millennium).
But going through a divorce together, you can't pretend that didn't bring us closer together.
In several episodes the heads in the jars are fed (Spock is fed with what looks like Goldfish food) but they have no way of digesting this.
During the opening, old 1930's cartoons are played on a giant monitor and are different each time. In the episode "Roswell That Ends Well", the cartoon featured in the opening was played in the episode on a small TV. Also when the title appears, a new message appears every time.
