There's a quaintness about Wicked's "In the Money", from the prolific if artistically challenged team of Fred Lincoln & spouse Patti Rhodes. Typical of VHS product before pretentiousness (and then switch to DVD) set in, it's relaing XXX entertainment of the mindless variety.
Patti's story is simple: Bob has died with pal Colt Steele the executor of his will, and Colt enlists Bob's girlfriends, both of the busty persuasion, to help him find the tons of money Bob stashed away at various locations, which they will split.
That's all she (Patti) wrote, and extraneous sex scenes keep the pot boiling until a rather ludicrous but functional twist late in the show that sort of resolves the narrative. At no time is the viewer called upon to think, as might be the case with any TV episode of "Perry Mason" or the myriad of police procedurals currently on the air.
Fake tits are de rigeur, with both leading ladies Holly Body and Nikki Lynn displaying impressive pairs. A hot Black actress named Taboo adds some IR content and Colt is his usual male pin-up self, his place in video porn akin to the earlier Francois Papillon not followed up in recent years for some unknown reason. Attempts at humor, such as Holly's airhead malapropisms (she keeps calling Colt the "executioner" of the will) are quite poor.
