  • RK is a rich college medical student . Its difficult to imagine him in his late 30s as a college student though he enacts well . He falls in love with Hema . Unfortunately she is killed by Danny when she witnesses his murder . Heart broken he resigns to his fate but he meets her twin. In a near by village .initially he tries to help that poverty sticken family plagued by shark money lender. Jeevan . Very soon the twin Hema realises the truth and she too gets drawn to him. A couple of hummable light duets later , he realises that Danny the villian is his own long lost brother . Some high voltage adrelin pumping bomb attacks and fights later , all gets well. RK and the twin Hema get marired. OVer all a fine movie . RK is made for such romantic soft roles . Hema looks cute and likeable in sarees and also in village garb. Bindiya Goswami comes in a very short role as her friend and lights up the screen .
  • This movie has middle aged Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini playing roles as college students. The movie is a commercial attempt by the maker of Prem Nagar and is a good clean movie which keeps the audience entertained and has Hema Malini in a double role with the Super Star loving both the characters. The pair looks great on the screen. The movie has some good songs composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and are still hit after 27 years of its release. The other members of the cast carry themselves well - Danny, Asrani, Omprakash. But the movie belongs to Rajesh Khanna and he has been ably supported by Hema Malini. The movie in those days was an average success but is a good time pass and one should see if for the pair - Super Star Rajesh Khanna and Dream Girl Hema Malini
  • The year is 1980 and so Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini are past their youth but they play the leads in a commendable effort which boasts of a good screenplay , interesting plot and above average music .Rajesh a naughty Medical student is now reformed sensible doctor and has to forget the tragedy of losing his reformer, the heroine Hema Malini. She has been killed by Danny as she was an eyewitness to a murder committed by him. Rajesh goes away to a remote village where he meets a look-alike sister of Hema, his first love. Interesting plot where Rajesh suppresses the truth of the elder daughter's death and slowly falls in love with the younger. When the truth of death is revealed, the younger one takes a very important step to save her mother and carve a new life. Rajesh has to come face to face with Danny as a Doctor to treat him as a patient again.Very emotional melodrama and the kind made to order for Rajesh Khanna and Hema. Melodious songs - Mere hosh lelo and Rang bhare mausam se by Kishoreda and Lata linger in the mind. Certainly worth a dekho.
