Three of the most popular girls at Reagan High accidentally kill the prom queen with a jawbreaker when a kidnapping goes horribly wrong.
Connie Francis tried to sue the producers of the film because her song "Lollipop Lips" is heard during a sex scene with Courtney and her boyfriend. This suit was dismissed.
How can you do that? Frame some guy for Liz's murder?
Courtney: Life's a bitch, then you die.
Julie: No, honey. You're the bitch!
Courtney: Oh, so aggressive! It's turning me on!
In the scene where the girls open the trunk of Courtney's car we can see that Liz is almost completely covered in bruises and her skin is pale, almost white. But as they walk through the pool area and up the stairs you can clearly see that suddenly her skin tone/bruises are completely gone. When they throw her on the bed suddenly the makeup and bruises are back.
