One of Sathyan's best films where his acting is flawless and very close to his private personality.For years we saw him in the familiar 'Lawrence Olivier' guise so this film was an accolade to his inherent acting abilities.Ambika is superb and T.S Muthayya is also in good form though overshadowed by Sathyan.The music and direction,especially the scenario are very professional and admirable.TThe story is well- balanced though as in all Malayalam films the flaws are also there;Sathyan's death and his subsequent arrival are the weak points.This film shows the real Sathyan behind the rough&tough guy's mask;ruthless and opportunist.A very enjoyable and well directed film.
