  • Warning: Spoilers
Sooner or later, you knew that George Hamilton was going to show up in one of these Hart to Hart reunion movies. He waited until the eighth of eight movies to make it happen, playing the evil Karl Von Ostenberg.

This episode finds the Harts heading to Munich, where Jennifer donates bone marrow to Maximilian, a little boy with leukemia. His doctor (Dwight Schultz, from TV's The A-Team and Alone In the Dark) is amazed, because Jennifer looks exactly like his fiancee Simone, who has seemingly left him before the wedding. With an important dinner coming up, the Harts save him from an embarrassing situation by Jennifer filling in for the missing woman at an important dinner.

The last of these films, this was directed by original series director and creative consultant Tom Mankiewicz, who also directed the Tom Hanks version of Dragnet. He was also the writer of Ladyhawke, the two Richard Donner Superman movies, Diamonds Are Forever, Live & Let Die, The Man With the Golden Gun and The Cassandra Crossing. It was written by Bill Froehlich and Mark Lisson, who also wrote Return to Horror High.
  • The best till last - I'd say 'Hart to Hart: Till Death Do Us Hart' is my standout of the 'Hart to Hart' film series.

It's still, like the preceding seven installments, not good. However, there are definitely parts I didn't mind and kinda liked. When I initially saw what they were doing with the plot I was, you could say, doubly unsure, but after it got going and by the end I almost enjoyed it. There's one 'beauty' of a twist at one point, while it also has an amusing joke right at the death.

Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers, for the final time as Jonathan and Jennifer, are sweet together. George Hamilton is a hit-and-miss in his role, yet is satisfactory all in all for what he gives. The support cast are alright - basic, but alright.

Despite the fact that I'd class none of these eight productions as good, I actually enjoyed watching them all - if only on a respectful level, thanks to the two leads, rather than anything to do with what the films produce onscreen.

Munich is the setting of yet another Hart Anniversary except this time Jennifer takes on a whole new personality. She's there to save a young boy's life, who knew she'd have to save her own.

I'm glad to see that after the series had ended that they continued with these reunion movies. They are just as good as the series episodes. The chemistry with the main characters is still there and the action is as good as it gets. I loved the series and I love the reunion movies. A must see for any Hart to Hart fan!! Even with Max gone (Lionel Stander), they manage to keep the consistency of the theme going.
