The anime-only Bronze Cloth designs eventually gave way to armors that were faithful to the manga. As the battered Bronze Armors were repaired/revived with the surviving Gold Saints' blood after the Battle of the Sanctuary, their design changed to replicate the one Kurumada had intended for his Poseidon Arc. However, as this arc was still being drawn and edited when the TV anime resumed its airing, the Asgard Arc was written as an anime-only arc to fill the gap.
In Spain and other countries of Latin America, the original release in the '90s had a different intro, with scenes from the movie "Abel" and a song in Spanish (which wasn't a translation of an original but instead a translation of the French intro from "Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque").
