  • "Parkin's Patch" is a bit like the "Heartbeart" of its day. This is OK in small doses and it was the right move in making the episodes 25 minutes each. The crimes that occur in this series are usually less serious ones. There is a fair bit of location shooting which helps. Look out for Michael Robbins (a.k.a Arthur from "On the Buses") who appears in a few episodes. I have the series on DVD but I seldom see it.
