When the leader of a team of scientists volunteers to be the test subject for their experiment in human invisibility, he slowly unravels and turns against them, with horrific consequences.
Hollow Man was one of very few films allowed to shoot directly in front of The Pentagon building, with Paul Verhoeven expressing surprise that the script was approved, because of the themes of the United States Government commissioning scientific experiments into making living beings invisible.
When they pull the circuit board out of the camera, it would have lost power immediately and the recorded image would have stopped then, not when they pulled the loop wires off.
The Director's Cut is ~7min longer than the Theatrical release, mostly incorporated deleted scenes previously available as home video bonus extras. The Director's Cut is Unrated.
