Ron Perlman wore "booties" made of greenscreen material, for the scene where we finally meet Hellboy as an adult, in which Hellboy's cloven hooves were revealed, but due to the low-key lighting, his hooves are a little hard to see.

Underground, just after Abe is injured underwater, and the two agents are killed, Hellboy is walking into a room. As he enters, his RIGHT hand is normal and holding his gun. Just after he approaches the table, now, his LEFT hand is normal and holding the gun. His large hand has changed sides.
There are no opening credits save the 3-D title, which is flown over several times by the camera before it pulls back to reveal the full title.
