On the outskirts of Whoville, there lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch (Jim Carrey), who plans on ruining Christmas for all of the citizens of the town.
Max, the male dog, was played by Kelley, a female dog.
Inside a snowflake like the one on your sleeve, there happened a story you must see to believe.
Noticeably, during the Grinch's flashback when May-Who and the rest of the Grinch's classmates, except Martha, burst out laughing at the Grinch's predicament, even Miss Rue-Who, the teacher, is giggling along. In real life, if students are acting so mean-spirited to a certain student, the teacher would actually scold them not to do so. However, this might have been put in the script on purpose to give another very good reason why the Grinch hates the Whos so much.
The MPPA rating screen at the end reads "PG-13," but the movie is actually rated "PG."
The network TV version of the movie added scenes not shown on the DVD including an extended version of the "Present, pass-it-on" sequence.
