The movie veteranos is a movie basically about street gangs or rivalry between two sides , the vatos and the white pride/Aryan gang. This movie is not for little kids because it contains mostly violence and the majority is cussing and things not for children. This movie is not all that gruesome because you can tell it was a low budget film, but despite that aspect it is great entertainment, so if you are bored and want to see an action movie then see this movie or if you want to laugh your a@@ off then see this movie, it is a good job for a first time amateur film. It also includes a lot of underground rap music in this film so check that out too.

After pulling off great performances in films like Follow Me Home (1996) and Bound by Honor (1993) this was a mistake! I am a fan of low budget filmmaking but there is no film here. It seems like they go there homies together and made it up as they went. I give them some props for trying and talking Jesse Borrego into doing it.

A tale telling the life of a respected Mexican American hood and his crew as they try are picked off one by one by a white gang. This has to be the most unintentionally funniest film I've ever seen and I would recommend this film because of it.
From the wooden acting (Keanu Reeves would be proud) to the moments where the actors are trying to stop themselves from laughing and the awkward silences in some scenes it almost seems like a parody in the mould of TV series 'the office' the fact that this is supposed to be a serious movie makes it a riot.
Standout moments include; a blowjob scene with some ludicrous slurping sounds and what sounds like a fart as a finale. A gangland hit where the pursuers in their car slam on the brakes as one quickly gets out he unitentionaly falls over to the sounds of background laughter. Guns being shot as though the person was trying to flick a bogey off the end of the barrel. A gripping shootout takes place at the end where after one of the homies is shot and is dying with his last breath he manages to whisper "family for life". There is actually an unforeseen twist at the end which rounded off the movie well (twist may be obvious to some viewers but I was too busy laughing to notice).
Rent this film it is strangely satisfying and I can definitely see myself giving it another viewing. -
hatchets200313 December 2004My brother is a fan of Darkroom Familia's music so he bought this movie for that reason. During some scenes in the movie they play songs from the soundtrack. The story is about Dyno who's brother was killed by a group of white men. So he seeks out revenge on them with his homies. The white men aren't stupid though. The whole movie is about betrayal, revenge and murder. The acting is stale though. There's certain scenes that stand out as stupid. One is where a guy gets shot in the stomach yet when they are rolling him over to put him in a bag to hide the body,there's no blood there. Also a guy tried to buy drugs using food stamps. lol. So I recommend this to you if you don't mind low budgeted films with bad acting but recommend you don't if you hate that.
