Robert Stewart's music for the serial was recorded by six musicians. The composer also conducted the recording sessions. Thetittle music was recorded on Tuesday 24th March and the incidental music for the first two installments the next day, Wednesday 5th, and the last two installments on the 26th. Other music heard was existing recordings of classical music, to be dubbed onto scenes featuring radios playing music, such as the hotel scenes and at Fiona's house.
