  • Although I always appreciate seeing the beautiful Landon Hall, there ia a hardcore porno film with the same title. It is probably one of the very best hardcore films ever made and stars a remarkable porno queen by the name of Chloe Nicol. Her acting ability is far better than Ms. Hall's.

If you are not terribly turned off by hardcore and think it is all just trash, I would recommend it a the "real" Masseuse 3.

Hell Hath No Fury 2 is the UK title of Masseuse 3, and it is the UK DVD edition which is reviewed here. Starting with the DVD cover, the stars are listed as Brenda Elise and Sandra Dahl. To date, Brenda Elise is a totally fictitious name and the only Sandra Dahl on the IMDb is a Danish actress who has appeared in a couple of Danish TV programmes. Why these names are used on the cover is a mystery that can probably be answered only by Palm Entertainment. Neither name appears in the on-screen credits.

A crime syndicate Mr Big finds out that call-girl boss Sheila Raines (Landon Hall) has some incriminating tapes. Detective Ron Lewis (Michael Meyers) is on the trail of the Mr Big but unfortunately, Lewis has been a regular customer of Sheila's, and the criminal boss decides that Lewis and Raines are too close for comfort. When a hired assassin bungles an attempt to steal the tapes, and Lewis becomes a marked man, another detective, Jack Cage (John Michael Vaughn) is put on the case. Cage and Raines are now targets and they have to work together to stay alive.

The list of actresses in this film reads like a Who's Who of soft core. They include Tammy Parks, Julie Strain and Gail Harris as well as the aforementioned Landon Hall. Most of the women have the almost obligatory surgical enhancements although Marcia Gray and Kimberly Knight looked attractively natural. That's the good bits taken care of. As for the rest, the plot had holes a mile wide and the acting was just bad. When Jack Cage finds the tapes, does he take them into protective custody? No! He leaves them in the house where the burglar knows them to be. The assassin Frost (Richard Chance), is so useless, he makes Dick Dastardly look like a criminal mastermind. There are other instances of crassness but enough already.

On the technical side, the UK DVD looks to be a truncated version because the sex and nudity scenes seem to cut off abruptly and the run time is only 81 minutes. There are plenty of better erotic thrillers to be had so 1 star for this.

    Wow!
My god, I'm not sure there will ever be another Ron Lewis. What a fantastic character! When I first saw this movie I thought it was one of the worst I had ever seen. Now I realize that there are lots like this but this one is actually special. Does Ron Lewis ever even move while he's having sex!?! Incredible!

This is a pretty bad film. The plot is poor. Many of the scenes are disjointed. I do not understand some of the "video" sequences. In fact some are preposterous. Come on, a "client" decides to have sex with his escort on a public tennis court and a camera is conveniently there to tape the whole thing? The worst thing, in my opinion, is that it leaves you hanging at the end.Its almost like they are telling you " Wait to see Masseuse 4".

I am a great fan of both Landon Hall and Shanna McCullough. This was apparently a crossover role for Shanna, the ex porn star. One redeeming factor, if you like that sort of thing, are the tan lines on the breasts of these two ladies. Both of these women have smoking bodies.

The acting in this is horrible, absolutely no plot line and the sex scenes are ridiculous. Even with all of these flaws everyone should see this at least once. The horribleness of this movie will make you laugh.
  • This OK soft core porn with attractive women and a tolerable plot to boot. But if you want the real thing, there is a hardcore film also called "Masseuse 3" which has become a classsic in the hardcore genre. It stars, among others, the beautiful redhead Melissa Hill. The sex scenes are terrific and the story line and acting too is much better than this soft core
  • "Masseuse 3" is jam-packed with heavy-breathing sex scenes. Unfortunately, only one of those scenes is original. And it doesn't occur until "Masseuse 3" is about to end. It's between the leads, Landon Hall's Sheila and John Michael Vaughn's Det. Jack Gage. They're terrific together. Sexy as sexy should be. Very good. Very believable in the "Hot! Hot! Hot!" department. (The moans of pleasure emerging from both actors' performances -- especially Vaughn's -- don't seem false.)

However, the rest of this erotic thriller's -- obviously as cheap as a low-budget, direct-to-video flick can get -- is comprised of scenes clipped from an obscure 1994 release. I'm familiar with Ms. Hall's work -- and she once again impresses. Mr. Vaughn, though, seems rather new to the genre -- and he is a welcomed addition, a fresh talent.

If you're going to watch "Masseuse 3," my recommendation is to fast-forward to about an hour and twenty-two minutes. (Very helpful if your VCR can be programmed to do so.) Just in time to see Hall and Vaughn impress. The rest, most certainly, does not.
  • This movie has everything needed to fall asleep: poor acting, disjointed transitions, poor camera angles(see Landon's big feet as she watches the tapes from her bed), patchwork scenes from some other failed movie to fill time, and yes a cop that is even more stupid than dumb and dumber. The worst actor is some black cop who looks like the janitor on the movie set, paying his way to night high school. Landon, a pretty girl, has poor close-ups that shows her face wrinkles. Ok, how's the sex scenes? Mediocre at best as the actors connect the dots to a formula. This gets 2 stars on 10, as one needs to see this to appreciate better made movies.
  • Moviemakers love franchise titles. As convenient shorthand for the viewer, they guarantee a built-in audience. And while mainstream releases usually require some continuity of plot or cast (impossible to imagine `Scream 2' without the survivors from `Scream' and ditto for `Scream 3'), late-night cable audiences are not quite so demanding. There's also an unwillingness to consign a splendid title to one-time use. Who could resist the lure of `Confessions of a Lap Dancer', even if the movie itself was a real stinker?

In `Masseuse 3', we have Landon Hall, ported in from the previous title in the series, playing a Madame providing massage therapy to LA's finest. The problem is that most of the rest of this movie also seems beamed aboard. The early scenes follow a stock two-shot format: strip shows spliced together with reaction shots. The womens' performances run the gamut from banal to inspired but the reaction shots all routinely picture the mutation of Hollywood hunk to lust-crazed goober. Our hero's eyes bulge and his mouth forms a huge cartoon `O', until he looks like a giant tanned carp. There's such a disconnected feel to the format that at one point I checked the wallpaper of the two shots to see if they were the same. An Oscar to the Continuity Department for making sure that the backgrounds match.

We even have some posthumous performances since our hero, fatally shot in mid-movie, tapes his massage sessions for posterity. There's a hot tub session with an enthusiastic redhead who bumps her head against the edge of the pool but gamely humps on. The voluptuous Annette Burger also makes an appearance, providing the only genuinely erotic moments of the movie. These tapes are supposed to be a source of clues for the ensuing homicide investigation but they probably work best to fuel the carnal impulses of the investigating detective and Landon.

Landon's stable is a veritable portfolio of favorites. Taylor St. Claire, fetching in black, has an appealing private dance, although it ends abruptly and inexplicably when she goes topless. Julie Strain breezes in from her duties as reigning Heavy Metal Amazon for one of her trademark sessions. And Shanna McCullough, in a rare crossover performance, looks tanned, trim, and terrific at forty.

Think of it simply as a mediocre art gallery. Some pretty pictures but not much in the way of inspiration. But even with this disappointing installment of the franchise, we're still lining up for `Masseuse 4'. Reminds us of something Samuel Johnson once said about the triumph of hope over experience.
  • This is a fun erotic movie that has little more than some great sex scenes. It has a lot of soft-core stars like Julie Strain and Tammy Parks in this piece of video. The plot involves an assassin trying to kill a brothel owner. Landon Hall stars in this and she is more than able to show her talent in these movies. She is really a pro and knows how to keep it interesting. Another surprise in this is Catherine Weber who has only done a handful of movies. She is a stunning beauty who was incredible in "Body Strokes". I have to give this movie an "8" for the great sex scenes. This movie is also listed as "Indiscretions". As "Indiscretions" it is edited and some of the scenes are missing, but it still packs a wallop.
  • Not a bad film for a low budget thriller. The acting of Landon Hall and John Michael Vaughn is very believable, they work well together. Richard Chance does a great job bringing the sick character of Mr. Frost to life. He is very twisted yet funny until getting blown away at the end by Sheila Raines. Mr. Frost spends much of his time trying to find a way into Sheila's house to get his hands on the valuable video tapes he has been hired to steal. He finally ends up killing the home security repairman and stepping in as his replacement only to get the security code for his own use. Richard Chance does a great job playing both characters but is really a joy to watch as he not only kidnaps Sheila Raines and Jack Gage at gunpoint but really knows how to punch a woman. There is also a great little fight scene between Jack Gage and Mr. Frost at the end of the film. It never pays to punch a woman but Mr. Frost does it well. I hope to see him in the upcoming Masseuse movies.
  • Masseuse 3 (1998) (V) is a re-vamped version of the 1995 movie Virtual Desire, only this time the actual love scenes are not on the cutting room floor as they were in Virtual Desire.

Masseuse 3 turns out to be a detective yarn at first, then goes into the main character, Sheila Raines, played by the beautiful Landon Hall.

The best sex scene in the movie is undoubtedly the one between the dead detective (he videotapes all his love sessions) and a woman named Tonya.

We first see Tonya in a sheer white off the shoulder dress with no bra! Then the sex scene happens later in the movie. In Virtual Desire, this sex scene was cut out and a helicopter flying over the ocean with the woman's love sounds echoing in the background and the detective and Tonya typing away on their computers was all this pervert saw.

I give this movie three out of five stars for Annette Burger's (Tonya) scene alone made this movie.
