A decent cast is thoroughly wasted by this poor attempt at a ghost story, by prolific hack Cash Markman. It's boring, obvious and uneventful.
Movie directed by Jim Enright (before he hit his stride over at Wicked Pictures) begins with a ridiculous, sarcastic voice-over narration, intoning about the American dream of suburbia, supposedly adding seriousness to the tale that follows. It doesn't.
There's zero atmosphere or suspense to this haunted house genre story, as Raven and Marc Wallice are the couple moving into a new home, helped by kindly neighbors. Alicyn Sterling is the beautiful ghost who has sex with each spouse, and we also get to see the neighbors having sex. The end.
Superstars Raven and Sterling look fine but have nothing roles. An episode of "Topper" carries more suspense or thrills than this turkey. And beware: IMDb displays an utterly pointless Trivia note submitted by Cash's publicist as well as an intentionally misleading Plot Outline. Thanks, guys.
