This movie's title translates as "Inside The Hippie-Girls' Love Nest" -- wow! If that doesn't get your attention, then nothing else will. I expected the whimsical softporn-farce that was typical of the German output of the era, but this movie is hardcore from the start, and all the way through. In fact it ought to be holding some sort of record for sexual content: the sex scenes make up about 99% of the movie, somehow every scene evolves into an elaborate and extensive copulation after a few words.
The plot is fairly simple and revolves around the two themes "what those free-love hippie girls get up to" and "the hidden sexual cravings of 18-year-old nieces for their comb-over uncles": barely-legal Julia lives with her well-to-do uncle so that she can attend "fashion school". While he is sexually active with a string of girlfriends, he refuses to acknowledge the patent sexual needs of his ward, who obviously has the hots for him. One evening they discover a "hippie girl" in their flat who, as those hippie girls are want to, has broken in through a window because she was hungry. She gladly compensates the uncle for the damage with sex, and returns to her commune to inform her fellow hippie girls of the sexually frustrated uncle, and the hippie boys of his equally frustrated niece (extensive and variegated shagging at the commune ensues). The entire commune then descends on the uncle's pad where an extensive sexual melée ensues. Eventually the uncle picks a girlfriend from among the hippie girls, and the film terminates with the long-anticipated menage à trois between uncle, hippie girlfriend and niece.
Strangely for a porn movie, all the girls in this movie have the same hairdo which consists of a dark medium-length perm. Except for the uncle's frigid first girlfriend, who inexplicably has a blonde bob.
Overall, this is a surprisingly good hardcore porn movie. This was one of director Hans Billian's last flicks, and his experience and professionalism shows. The movie is well-directed and paced, the girls (and boys) are very pretty and eager, and the scenes are fairly imaginative. The plot is of course only a flimsy excuse for stringing up a bevy of explicit scenes, but it works quite well and is reasonably well told. Personally, I could have done without the incest motif which introduces an unpleasantly sinister touch to the movie. Other downsides are that the music sucks (but who cares), the dialogue is dubbed, and the technical quality is a bit lacklustre as it was shot on video. But those are minor grudges.
Hans Billian died in 2007, by the way -- rest his sooty ashes. He certainly was one of the few pornographers who knew his cinematic onions.
