  • Paul Thomas and company put little effort into this very minor Vivid release spotlighting superstar Savannah. Preserved by Vivid later on a Wave DVD running a scant 66 minutes long, its only virtue is its brevity.

Opening scene has TV writer Marc Wallice submitting a script to PT, which the Great One rejects since it lacks a crucial "meet-cute" scene, to set up the story. "Speedster" is merely an elaboration of such a meet-cute, stretched out to feature length and fatally trite and uninteresting.

Savannah and Wallice accidentally mislay their appointment books while out jogging, and all the action stems from both mistakng the wrong jogger for the intended person when they get together officially to exchange the books. It's a lame premise and nothing much happens as a result other than XXX sex.

Savannah fans get to see her in action, but her supporting pair of brunette actresses, Heather Hart and Summer Knights fail to impress. The minuscule cast has T.T. Boy thrown into the mix and needless to say Wallice doesnt' generate the requisite charm for the leading man role.

Title "Speedster" is meaningless, probably tacked on as catchy. Despite the major names involved, this is merely a random VHS era video interchangeable with a thousand others ground out merely to feed the New Releases bin of the then-popular Video Stores.
