almost touching. in fact, common film from a time in which past was ingredient of propaganda and way of resistance against dictatorship. today, almost boring, it was part of a kind of vision about Romanian national history, strange, not really authentic but nice. presence of Franz Liszt in Moldova and revolutionary plot. a love story and roots of revolution. not inspired dialogs but good actors. Marcel Iureș at his first steps. and crumbs of aristocracy in second part of XIX century. its virtue - status of Proust madeleine for few slices of public. and feeling of delicate lace. nothing more. only seed for rediscover memories. so, must see this film only you known the period of its. in different case, it remains not very interesting. but the old things are only decorations after their age.
  • revolutionary plot . presence in Moldavia of Franz Liszt. romanticism, tradition, music, theater, political tensions and delicate exercise for recreate the atmosphere of XIX century in Iași. result - old lace of a lost time, impression to escape from the ideological pressure, a beautiful story of love and noble patriotic intentions, portraits of boyars and Romanian folk, good acting and seductive trip in the past. nothing remarkable but enough for imagine slices of past. values of a period and steps o modernization. nothing original. only useful for understand the noble ambition of Nicolae Oprițescu for reinvent the spirit of a historical period , basis of modern Romanian civilization.after its end, the memories about the work of Marcel Iureș and Rodica Tapalagă , the crumbs from story as isles of spring, result of mixture of music and poetry of few scenes, snow are the only who remains.
