  • A dysfunctional family, composed of a prostitute and two gays, one strong and the other fragile and stupid, lives a routine life in Rio de Janeiro. When the slut threatens the other two to stop supporting them, they decide to find an odalisque as an alternative to keep their easy life.

"A Família do Barulho" is a silly, boring and stupid underground comedy of the Brazilian "Cinema Marginal" ("Marginal Cinema"), a movement in the 70's in an opposite direction of the "Cinema Novo" ("New Cinema"). This movie is so ridiculous that in the conclusion, just before the "The End", the image vanishes and the audience hears a toilet flushing. I believe Júlio Bressane was conscious the crap he wrote and directed. My vote is one.

Title (Brazil): "A Família do Barulho" ("The Family of the Trouble")
