well, i saw it and i liked it so much. Azul Tequila is just the story of two young people that love each other but the destiny separates them. It was film in Jalisco. The acting and speaking and all the behavior is based on how people used to be in the 1800's. Barbara Mori is the young Azul and Santiago is the handsome Santiago.

Azul and Santiago can not be happy if they are not together and a lot of secrets are always being kept. You can see how people can make gossips from nothing. What we think about a simple town and society it's actually not that simple. Smalle town, big gossips.

Santiago marries Maria Jacinta, daughter of a rich man, but she realizes that he doesn't love her and leaves him free and then he goes with Azul.
  • This story had the fortune of not being so famous in México, I say fortune, because many good soap operas become boring and stupid when the producers get lucky, and they start to do horrible an illogical things to make it logger than it was planed. I normally don't like this kind of stories, but I have to admit that I was a really big fan of this one, specially of Mauricio Ochmann (not Isalas, like a comment said, Mauricio Isalas is another actor) and Lorena Rojas who was one of the funniest characters I have seen in a soap opera. The costumes and the places are great, actually the House of the main characters is a the place where a very famous tequila is made.
  • ... this is one of the most boring novela I have ever seen. Only episodes that have some kind of action are the last and the first ones. Besides that every episode is filled with Azul's tears and sadness. I don't recommend this novela. But......... there are some good things too: Mauricio Islas and Barbara Mori as a couple and the costumes.
