Lips is another good example from the golden era of porn.

It has bad acting from John Ogden who plays a doctor and is obviously reading cue cards. Good acting from Paul Thomas who plays a sex therapist. Comedy from Ron Jeremy who at point takes a selfie as he sucks his own todger, decades before smartphone was invented.

Couples who have problem with their sex life visit the sex therapist's country retreat where they relax and let go of their inhibitions.

There are some pretty hot sex scenes the best is a threesome involving Vanessa del Rio. The ladies look beautiful and it does not take itself too seriously. Interestingly the film has three black actors in the film, which would had been rare in those days.

This is the first porn flick I ever saw and it is still one of the best. It contains the the scene which kept Ron Jeremy out of mainstream pictures because every audition he went to the directors would say. "Are you the guy who sucks himself off?"

Very funny scene.

The film itself - although dated now - does have excellent camera angles which were way ahead of the time, also the plot makes this better than most b movies of the same generation with the added bonus of actual sex scenes.

Plot outline various couples go to a holiday camp designed to help out with their sexual problems. Basically everyone shags everyone else and then gets back with their partners and leave happy

I though this was about oral sex.But it wasn't. Ron Jeremy as john is having problems,His wife played by Kathy,played by Kathy Harcourt, won't make love to him any more.She oral sex disgusting .He tells her that this can't go on any more and suggest they go to this special doctor.Then you see this scene ,at the home of D.r. Williams,played by John Ogden.Telling patient Hershel Savage that there is nothing wrong with his wife Linda ,played by Brooke West, sexually.That their problem comes from stress.D.r. suggest they go to a couples retreat that owned by another doctor,D.r Jim Matlock,played by the always ready Paul Thomas,who was in Jesus Christ Super star . Then Tiger,aka Chelsea Manchester, is the assistant carpenter Arlene,of Skip,played by probably an screen actors guild actor,Reggie Gunn,who keeps making passes at her but she's not interested.Vanessa Delrio and Billy Dee is overcoming their sexual inhibitions with the aid of D.r Matlock,discover the joys of frontal and anal,with Billy Dee and Paul Thomas.As Kathy keeps shrugging off Hershel.He decide to take look at the place.He meets a jogger,down the road,Heidi,played by Pipi Anderson.When they go to her place ,at the retreat,Talking about his sex problems lead to a hot tryst of their own,on the coffee table.While Ron is bird hunting, his wife Kathy ,meets Arlene.Then Kathy discovers why she hated sex ,she prefers women.Then Rome Jeremy come back from his bird hunting to discover what is wife is doing through the windows,only to discover that he can satisfy his own orally. Brook shows up,finds it disgusting ,then helps out,then quickly changes her mind just because she is married.Ron confronts both women and does it with Tiger ,as Kathy is getting Horny for him.This lead to the couples cure.Now back at the carpenter shop,Tiger now has the hots for Skip,but it turn out that his anticipation lead him to not being able to get it up.Typical of screen actors guild technique.Then Paul Thomas introduces Lisa Deleuw to Kathy,which lead to a hot threesome between both women and Paul.After that Kathy is cured and she surprises Hershel.This movie was very entertaining as well as a turn on.Made at the time shot on film and adult theaters were shrinking and Beta was dying out for v.h.s. Hairy Harcourt

Kathy Harcourt was a wet dream come to life: Large natural breasts, a muff to die for, an adorable British accent, a toothy smile. Hell, even her pageboy hairstyle was a turn on. She's also in a lesbian scene with Tigr, using a double headed dildo, but, alas, director Paul Vatteli doesn't stay with them too long, the scene keeps going back and forth to Ron Jeremy performing fellatio on himself, which I frankly could have done without. Miss Harcourt left the adult entertainment industry in 1984, and was long believed to have been murdered, but recently (2020) was found to be alive and well & living in Australia. Other starlets who make "Lips" worth watching are Brooke West & Vanessa Del Rio. Lily Rodgers also appears in the opening credits in a non-sex role.
