Shot back to back with another obscure feature "Skin Dive" featuring the same stars, "Lust Weekend" shows men and women frolicking at a man-made lake. Its film look (though made for video release back in the VHS era) and sequences of waterskiing and other outdoor activities gives it a "real movie" aspect, but the emphasis is strictly on escapist, casual sex.
Credited to Steve Michaels as producer-director, that moniker is likely a pseudonym for star Steve Drake, who is featured in all 4 of "Michaels"'s movies.
He leads a cast of four guys and five gals, with "Miss" Sharon Mitchell leader of the distaff set. They have two houseboats on the lake, and hook up for sex. Steve gets to hump and float off into the sunset with sexy redhead Dina Deville, who IMDb informs us was his real-life spouse at the time.
Dialog set-up scenes are static, shot with a remote camera in pure master-shot, unedited fashion, while the sex scenes feature close-ups and normal porn editing. Nothing much happens except chatting about the opposite sex when not humping, with lesbian sex and threesomes thrown in.
